The mission of New Visions Center is to provide innovative, safe and accessible healthcare services for individuals with disabilities. By improving quality of life through a variety of residential, outpatient, and community services while focusing on respecting individual care needs, we foster choice, hope and independence for all people.
New Visions Center offers comprehensive and individualized treatment for individuals and family members who are suffering from the negative effects of substance abuse and addiction. The length of stay and individualized treatment planning are solely dependent upon the individual.
HIGH - PRIMARY TREATMENT OR CO-OCCURRING:
This level of care offers group and one-on-one therapy, co-occurring education and screening, gender specific groups, family programming and individualized assignments. Co-occurring services includes 45 days of residential care, scheduled groups, education and awareness, medication management, and family programming specific to co-occurring.
MEDIUM - EXTENDED CARE 45 TO 90 DAYS:
Our extended care is designed for those who need a slower paced treatment and longer in duration. This allows for better stabilization and the individual is more prepared to manage their illness on an ongoing basis.
We provide a mental health screening for all individuals entering the program. Our Mental Health Professionals will complete a full assessment to determine the appropriate level of care needed as well as follow-up services.
As a part of everyone's intake process, our medical professionals will complete a physical health assessment and assist in the development of an individual care plan and monitor for ongoing needs.
ALEXANDRIA - ADULT OUTPATIENT PROGRAM:
This level of care is for those need intensive outpatient programming and yet have a stable home, transportation, family, and community involvement. Tailored to each individual’s unique strengths and challenges, treatment is provided in education, lectures, and family sessions, one to three days per week. Individuals may start at different phases as needs dictate.
MORRIS - ADULT OUTPATIENT PROGRAM:
Our sister program in Morris offers outpatient therapy as well, focusing on substance abuse issues. Formatted in two phases, Morris outpatient programming begins with group and individual therapy that last for eight weeks, three days per week and includes six individual sessions. Phase two provides treatment twice weekly for four weeks, transitioning to once weekly for four additional weeks and includes two individual counseling sessions. Individuals may start at different phases as needs dictate.
Morris - ADOLESCENT PROGRAM:
The Morris Outpatient location offers adolescent services that have been developed with the needs of young people, and their families in mind. Chemical-free activities and community involvement enrich this programming. Conducted in both an individual format and group therapy.
MORRIS - DUI CLASSES:
